Role Overview

Enterprise Productivity (EP) is a fast-growing segment of PDI Technologies has expanded to over a thousand employees across multiple new business units and functional areas like Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance, HR, Legal, and IT in just a few years. We are seeking a courageous, adaptable program manager to join our collaborative team during this immense growth. A Project Manager (PM) is a critical member of the business and technical teams who practices planning, organizing, requirements gathering, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. As a PM, you manage multiple projects in tandem from inception to completion and will lead with excellence. Key measures of success in this role include building solid partnerships with stakeholders, task owners, and customers, as well as exercising effective communication and time management skills. As each project’s requirements and challenges are inherently different, this individual must be able to encourage creativity and leverage each team member’s unique talents to bring the project to a successful completion. You will oversee projects ranging from small to enterprise-level that align with our segment’s quarterly global objectives and key results. Working cross-functionally with integrity and curiosity, you will define scope, manage budgets/timelines, identify risks, and ensure accountable and successful delivery of mission-critical internal operational initiatives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with groups like Engineering, Operations, etc. to conceptualize and scope projects tied to divisional objectives.
  • Create detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules for global initiatives of all sizes aligned to goals.
  • Clearly define requirements, budgets, milestones, and metrics linked to divisional objectives.
  • Proactively manage schedules, critical paths, and blockers for global projects tied to objectives.
  • Lead and manage project teams and coordinate complex cross-functional workstreams related to division goals.
  • Develop comprehensive risk and contingency plans for projects linked to objectives.
  • Monitor progress, expenditures, and resources for global initiatives aligned to goals.
  • Implement and utilize PM tools to maximize the efficiency of project delivery.
  • Facilitate status meetings and communicate progress on critical projects globally.
  • Compile reports on performance, metrics, and lessons learned from initiatives tied to objectives.
  • Build relationships and exert influence with stakeholders regarding projects.
  • Uphold lean processes and pursue continuous improvement in project delivery.
  • Be flexible to work odd hours as needed to accommodate global regions in the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions.


Qualifications
  • 5 to 8 years’ experience as an IT Project Manager.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handles multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.
  • Effectively communicates with multicultural, remote teams in multiple time zones.
  • Experience in incremental delivery with an understanding of delivery metrics.
  • Track record of self-driven project ownership.
  • As a service leader able to garner respect from the project team and be able and willing to remove project impediments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools like MS Project & Smartsheet.
  • Demonstrates high-energy enthusiasm and embraces change.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a desire to help others and take action.
  • Requires strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms.
  • Ability to independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to socialize ideas and influence decisions without direct authority.
  • Collaborative in nature with a strong desire to dig in and learn independently and as well as through asking questions.
  •   Considers ‘best-practice’ standards, as well as departmental policies and procedures.


Preferred Qualifications
  • PMI certification, PMP preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, business administration, or equivalent.
