Dental Assistant-EDDA

Panorama Dental is a busy and established family dental practice conveniently located at Parker Road and 225 in SE Aurora. Our modern, high-tech office features large windows that provide stunning views and plenty of natural light. We are seeking a team-oriented EDDA-Dental Assistant to join our team full time 4 days per week. We are passionate about building relationships with our patients, taking the time to listen and understand their needs. Our ideal EDDA -Dental Assistant will be reliable, knowledgeable, well-organized, able to multi-task, and have a passion for delivering the highest standard of patient care. Schedule:

Mon 7am-4pm

Tues & Thurs 7:30am-4pm

Weds 7:30am-2:30pm

Responsibilities to include (but are not limited to):

*Sterilization of all dental and medical instruments

*Daily set up and organization of instruments needed for procedures throughout the day

*Capture diagnostic radiographs

*Administer topical anesthesia to patients

*Placing fillings

*Taking impressions

*Assisting with Invisalign patients

*Making temporary crowns

*Review of patient health history

*Organization and sterilization of the operatories

*Assisting with lab tasks and procedures

*Assisting the dentist chairside 

*Using Denticon to update patient records

*Scheduling patient appointments

Requirements

*5+ years of dental assisting experience

*CPR or BLS Certification

*Xray Certification

*EDDA experience

*EDDA certification preferred

*Knowledge of dental software (Denticon) is preferred but not required

*Ability to be coached, given direction, and work well in a team environment
