Team Description
As the Head of our Global Total Rewards program, you own the evaluation, continuous improvement, and implementation of our compensation, compliance, mobility, and benefits programming. Role Responsibilities
- Translate compensation and benefits philosophy into a tactical execution plan with a focus on our equity program, incentives, and salary reviews, driving communications, visualizations and modeling, to inform value (cash, equity, benefits, recognition, perks, etc.) to attract, retain, and engage Pendozers
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of compensation, benefits, operations and compliance experts
- Collaborate and consult with HR Business Partners and Recruiting on offers, promotions, transfers, and develop policies and guidelines; and with Finance to forecast and lead multi-year financial models including annual merit, promotion, and equity budgets
- Participate in surveys ongoing, analyze market data quarterly, and drive refresh of job architecture and pay structures annually to ensure competitive and fair placement of structure and employees
- Ensure pay programs are aligned with and enhanced by company tech stack and drive automation and manager/employee tools to better leverage total compensation
- Iterate upon our current compensation model while working with our executive team – particularly our CPO, CFO and CEO – and Compensation Committee to build a truly innovative total rewards program, including the review and delivery of executive pay and materials for the Compensation Committee
- Support functional leader to drive benefits benchmarking, communication and enrollment to ensure more and better use of these critical programs, to support expansions in emerging and new markets
- Support team and work closely with General Counsel and CISO to manage immigration, mobility and compliance programs; including roadmap management, training, documentation, to ensure internal, SOC2 and regulatory compliance
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years working in total rewards (compensation and benefits)
- 3+ years of global experience
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Proven ability to innovate in the rewards space and develop and improve upon success metrics
- Proficient in Excel
- Comfort working in an agile work environment; you’re quick on your feet with excellent time management skills
- Assertion when required; you’re able to challenge and be challenged with clients in a constructive and respectful way and make effective decisions under pressure
- Strong problem solving skills; you’re able to quickly digest a problem and evaluate solutions and then empower others to deliver, improve efficiency and deliver quality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, at all levels of the organization, including Compensation Committee, Executives, Managers, and Employees
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in tech
- Experience working with Compensation Committees
- Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
- A love of numbers and data, with an ability to provide data visualization

Compensation
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in:
NYC: $190,000 - $237,000
Raleigh: $183,000 - $225,000
SF: $210,000 - $240,000
Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
