People in Need (PIN) is a Czech-based international non-governmental organization (NGO) that has provided humanitarian and development assistance across more than 20 countries since 1992. PIN empowers civil society, advocates for human rights, and promotes social inclusion both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
Regional Grants and Reporting Coordinator (RGRC) is a member of the regional team based at HQ. RGRC’s main role is to serve as a liaison between CP and specific donors/partners (CZDA, MFA, ECHO, BHA)
Reporting Relations & Interdependencies with Other Functions
RGRC’s line manager is the Deputy Regional Director for Eastern Partnership and Balkans(EaPnB DRD) who needs to be informed on pertinent issues and changing circumstances as they arise.
At the HQ level RGRC works in close cooperation with the Regional Director, Programme Quality Advisors and Regional Head of Systems and Operations, Finance Coordinator (FC), other regional positions and support departments.
At the country programme level, RGRC cooperates closely with Grants and Reporting teams and HoPs.
Coordination, Reporting and Representation
• Main focal point for communication with donors requiring HQ based contacts (e.g. ECHO, BHA, Czech Development Agency and MFA). Communication with donors is closely coordinated with CP Grants and Reporting teams and DRD and RD and is tailored to each CP and project.
• Support of CPs with knowledge about Czech donors’ specifics in coordination with Regional Programme Quality Advisors and IFU.
• Main focal point for communication with Czech project partners, experts (both external experts and experts from other PIN departments, e.g. Czech climate team, OWIS etc.) Support identification of new partners; oversee partners contracts and reports. Communication with Czech partners is closely coordinated with RD and DRD.
• Support communication with Czech based networks (Fors etc.) in close cooperation with RD and DRD
• Support of CPs project proposals, reports and modifications submission to Czech donors in line with donors’ requirements (templates, annexes and deadlines). This task is closely coordinated with CPs (CP rants Grants and Reporting teams and HoPs).
• Check project documents and communication with Czech donors and for regional projects are properly archived on ELO (CZ projects-specific) and check
• Support finalization and submission of regional project proposals (e.g. DG ENEST, CERV regional proposals etc.) This task is closely coordinated with Programme Quality Advisors.
• In close cooperation with Programme Quality Advisors, actively participate in GNGs of regional and global calls.
• In close cooperation with FDOs, RD, oversee requests for internal funds, and implementation and spending of allocated grants. l and ensure follow up communication with CPs
• Support coordination with HQ fundraising department and related representation for Ukraine-specific topic
On request tasks
• Support proposal development and reporting
• Conduct internal project evaluations
• Gap filling in CP technical capacities (DRR etc.)
• Support preparation of exposure visits from CPs to CR
• Travels to CPs within the region to support CP(s) with any of the above agenda
• Experience with project coordination, teamwork, and/or leadership in the non-profit environment and abroad
• At least 3 years of experience with humanitarian and/or development projects
• Appropriate education degree in either humanitarian aid or development is welcome
• Proven proposal writing and reporting skills, preferably with humanitarian and development donors such as DG ECHO, USAID/BHA, EUD, Czech MFA and Czech development agency, etc.
• Ability to coordinate with other PIN departments, good communication skills and time management
• Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with different groups of people and respect their different cultural backgrounds
• Ability to strengthen relationships with partners and donors in the Czech Republic and abroad
• Excellent knowledge of English and Czech
• Ability to organize your work independently and approach things positively even in situations where job requests are rapidly developing
• EU citizenship or valid work permit for the Czech Republic

· Starting Salary and benefits based on PIN’s salary scale and HR policies; expected salary range between 42 900 - 48 000 CZK gross for full time (based on experience);
