Warehouse Supervisor

PeopleCert is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse, optimize processes, and manage the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing, monitoring, and overseeing all warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety standards.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, your tasks will include the following:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the warehouse
• Coordinate and guide the warehouse team
• Organize incoming shipments, dispatches, and inventory management
• Perform regular inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Identify and resolve workflow issues
• Communicate with suppliers and other departments to optimize processes
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs

What we look for:

• Institute of vocational training, Technological Institute or University degree (preferably in Supply Chain Management or a related field)
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in team management and warehouse organization
• Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification is required, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus)
• Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advanced level certification is desirable
• Excellent knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) will be considered an asset
• Training in Safety and Hygiene standards will be considered an asset
• Leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
• Valid driver’s license for both car and motorcycle
• Military obligations completed (for men)

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

• A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check

• Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)

• HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)

• Financial background check

• Employment reference check.

• If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in the English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
