What You'll be Doing:
  • Supporting initiatives and directives from the Chief Administration Officer and Director of Human Resources. 
  • Managing the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, employment verifications, background checks and other onboarding elements. 
  • Managing the termination process (voluntary and involuntary) and all related off-boarding elements.
  • Assisting in the development and facilitation of performance management systems, providing support and guidance to both employees and managers. 
  • Serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a professional and timely manner. This includes assisting with investigations as may be necessary. 
  • Assisting with the research, development, facilitation and tracking of various training, safety, and other employee relations initiatives. 
  • Managing the employee benefits programs, including new health enrollments, Cobra processing, open enrollment administration, PTO tracking and leave of absence administration. 
  • Managing the workers’ compensation process including claim processing, investigations, and any necessary follow-up with adjusters. 
  • Ensuring company-wide compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintains employee records, prepares occasional HR reports and audits/monitors Company policy acknowledgements. 
  • Creating and properly maintaining all HR related personnel records. 
  • Assisting in ensuring proper compliance to federal regulations (OSHA, wage and hour, employment practices, EEOC, etc.)
  • Assisting the department in the creation or adjustment of forms, data bases and other documents for proper content, format, and value, as directed by department leads.
  • Assisting in full review of online drives to ensure proper placement of human resources related content. Suggests editing as may be needed (removals, additions, and changes).
  • Assisting with employee engagement events as may be assigned, including presentation materials. 
  • Assisting with asset and equipment inventory tracking as may be necessary. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 


What You'll Bring to the Table
  • An associate’s degree or higher
  • Minimum of three years’ previous human resources management experience 
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
  • Extreme sense of confidentiality due to sensitivity of human resources information
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and resourcefulness
  • Ability to prioritize work and consistently meet deadlines
  • Flexibility and composure in the face of changing assignments, priorities, or goals
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Positive and friendly "can do" attitude
  • Dependability (ability to consistently work agreed-upon schedule)
  • Willingness to help wherever and whenever needed
  • Intermediate Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel skills
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now, Paylocity, Ease, and Lever helpful
  • Ability to lift, carry and/or transport 30 pounds as may be necessary


$80,000 - $95,000 a year
Bonus potential available
