Corporate Orders Coordinator

This candidate is responsible for maintaining orders for Home Health in a timely manner. This specialist must possess a great working attitude while exercising accountability and professionalism in a fast-paced atmosphere. This role reports to Revenue Cycle Management.

Responsibilities

  • Order Tracking and Coordination: Monitor and send orders to different departments, ensuring they reach the correct facility with the appropriate physician information.
  • Follow-up: Ensure all orders are signed correctly by following up with physician offices.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with various teams to ensure orders are processed and sent accurately.
  • Aging Orders: Use software to track aging orders and follow up where necessary.
  • Correcting Signature Errors: Identify and address signature issues, working with the operations team to resolve them.
  • HIPAA Compliance: Maintain privacy and confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations.
  • Communication: Regularly communicate with peers and administration to ensure smooth operations.
  • Other Duties: Assist with other tasks as needed, such as uploading authorizations and delegating claims to billers.
  • Customer Service: Strong ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external parties.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in tracking and handling orders and documentation.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-Motivated and Independent: Ability to work autonomously while maintaining accountability.
  • Team Collaboration: Able to work well in a team setting while contributing to overall goals.
  • Multitasking and Organizational Skills: Manage multiple tasks and maintain order in a dynamic work environment.
  • Basic Bookkeeping Skills: Handle simple financial tasks as needed.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a courteous and professional attitude.
