We are seeking a dedicated Medical Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical office settings and possess strong organizational skills to support the efficient operation of our medical practice.
Duties:
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient referrals
- Hours are Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm
- Handle phone calls, inquiries, and requests promptly and courteously
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
- Assist with insurance verification and billing tasks
- Support medical staff with administrative tasks as needed
Skills:
- Experience working in urgent care or medical office environments
- Strong customer service and patient care skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with front desk operations and patient service practices
- Ability to operate phone systems efficiently
