About The Role
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an experienced, curious, and highly skilled product designer to join our team in NYC. Our ideal candidate has been successful in both early-stage startups and larger organizations. As Senior Product Designer, you will play an important role in shaping our web platform and product design practice.
This is a full-time, in-office position.
HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE
• You will lead the design process of our digital product from initial research through ideation and execution, to testing and validation
• You will collaborate with our product engineering team, ideating and planning high-impact initiatives and designing the necessary elements for successful implementation.
• You will utilize a diverse array of design techniques, utilizing user research to inform initial sketches and wireframes to developing production mockups and prototypes, effectively communicating your vision to both team members and stakeholders.
• You will employ both qualitative feedback and quantitative data to guide design decisions, focusing on user needs while also propelling business growth.
• You will champion a user-centric approach in design, aligning features with user needs and Project Healthy Minds' core values and goals.
REQUIREMENTS
• 5 - 12 + years of experience designing successful digital products as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience working with an early-stage cross-functional team that includes branding, sales, and engineering to design and collaborate on the implementation of new features or even products.
• Experience integrating insights gleaned from user research into the design process.
• Experience managing a Design System across an ecosystem of products and services (we use Figma and Storybook).
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage ambiguity while juggling multiple priorities.
NICE TO HAVES
• Experience integrating generative AI tools into your design process
• Experience as a frontend engineer
• Experience designing successful products in healthcare, fitness, fintech, or e-commerce
• Experience with navigating HIPAA and ADA compliance
• Experience designing detailed interactions using animation

The annual salary for this role is $130,000 - $200,000, depending on experience, skills, and other relevant considerations.
