ProPublica is an independent, nonprofit newsroom that produces investigative journalism in the public interest.
ProPublica’s unique, award-winning engagement reporting team fuels the newsroom’s signature crowdsourced investigations, using everything from callouts and tip lines to citizen-fueled science. Now, we’re looking for an engagement and tips coordinator who can help us triage, vet and distribute tips to journalists across our newsroom. This is a temporary, two-year role.
The coordinator will catalog and route information as it comes in so we can follow up quickly and securely. You’ll work alongside investigative reporters across the country to gather the evidence and receipts that power our journalism.

This job is full time on a temporary, two-year basis, and it includes benefits. ProPublica is based in New York, and this role will require in office work on site at least three days a week. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S.
The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 to $85,000.
This is a good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The final salary figure will take into account a person’s experience, accomplishment and location. ProPublica is committed to paying its staff equitably, and these ranges should not be considered career salary limits or caps.
