Join our team as the Manager of Global Revenue Operations!


As a Global Revenue Operations Analytics Manager, you'll take charge of spearheading the analysis, reporting, and data-driven decision-making functions within our sales team. You will work closely with various stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that enhance sales performance, forecasting accuracy, and strategic planning processes. We are seeking a candidate who is not only analytical and detail-focused but also possesses an in-depth understanding of sales processes and systems. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Global Revenue Operations at Protolabs. 


This is a hybrid role based out of Maple Plain, MN.


You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for enhancement. 
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics. 
  • Provide regular updates and insightful reports to sales leadership and other stakeholders. 

  • Sales Forecasting & Pipeline
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to create and monitor accurate sales forecasts
  • Monitor and analyze sales pipeline performance against set targets. 
  • Utilize data to visualize and calculate sales velocity across different segments.  
  • Provide customer retention data and model growth/decline predictability. 

  • Continuous Process Improvement
  • Identify and implement process improvements to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team. 
  • Develop and enforce standardized data insights, accessibility, and best practices for data interpretation. 
  • Optimize sales process and monitor adherence to sales methodologies. 

  • CRM & Systems Management:
  • Support management of data quality and optimize the use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and other sales tools. 
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within sales systems. 
  • Provide training and support to the sales team on the use of CRM and analytics tools. 

  • Sales Strategy, Objectives, & Rewards:
  • Contribute to revenue strategy development and execution. 
  • Determine sales metrics and KPIs and provide regular readouts of performance. 
  • Assist in compensation plan and sales incentive design. 

  • Cross-functional Collaboration & Change Management:
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, finance, and product teams to align sales strategies with business objectives. 
  • Partner with IT and data teams to ensure the availability and reliability of sales data and systems. 
  • Lead efforts to implement and manage change within the revenue operations function. 

  • Performance Measurement: 
  • Analyze sales performance and provide insights on individual and team outputs. 
  • Develop and implement incentive programs to motivate the sales team. 
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and offer recommendations for improvement. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 


What It Takes:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting or data science. 
  • 7+ years of experience in finance, accounting, sales operations, analytics, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture and business analytics tools. 
  • Salesforce.com proficiency.
  • Experienced people manager: HRIS systems, performance management, team structure and resourcing, etc. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly identify stakeholder needs and proactively propose supportive programs. 
  • Ability to be an engaging presenter who effectively delivers information and encourages participation in remote settings. 
  • Proactive mindset, highly motivated, and adaptable to change. 
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization capabilities. 


$92,600 - $139,000 a year
Protolabs offers a competitive total rewards package, and compensation mix vary based on position, such as base wage, as well as other earnings including incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, job function, work experience, specialized skills, training, education, and certifications. 

Proto Labs maintains ITAR-compliant operations in all of our United States based facilities.  Due to ITAR regulations, this role is only open to U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents (green card holders) or foreign nationals granted refugee or asylee status.  Individuals with temporary visas (e.g. E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, TN or OPT) are not eligible for hire in this role.

Physical Demands:

While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use a computer keyboard, monitor and mouse, telephone and printer; reach with hands, and arms, talk, see and hear.  The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop or kneel and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment:

Indoors (A/C); nonsmoking; the majority of this job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions. However, there may be job duties that require the employee to spend time in the manufacturing areas exposed to machinery and noise; eye protection occasionally required. Occasionally works in outside weather conditions. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
