Marketing Manager

On behalf of our client, a well-established global company in the manufacturing industry, we are looking to recruit a Marketing Manager.

The Position

Marketing Manager will lead and drive marketing initiatives. This role will contribute to the development and execution of the company's marketing strategy, that will enhance brand awareness, support business growth, and position the company as a leader in its industry. She/He will work closely with internal teams and external partners to create compelling marketing campaigns, managing social media and creating content in order to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms. Beyond execution, this role requires a hands-on leader who can shape marketing strategy, drive innovation in product-related materials, and contribute to the company’s overall marketing vision.

Main responsibilities

  • Drives the creation and continuous improvement of product-related communication materials, including datasheets, brochures, installation instructions, and line drawings
  • Leads the development of product and presentation materials, ensuring their effectiveness in supporting sales and business development efforts
  • Strategically plans and oversees the execution of corporate events, tradeshows, and marketing initiatives to maximize brand visibility and engagement
  • Travels nationally and internationally to support tradeshows, events, and key marketing initiatives
  • Works closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams to ensure that marketing materials effectively communicate product value propositions
  • Takes ownership of the company’s digital presence by updating websites and managing social media channels in line with corporate strategy
  • Ensures that all marketing communications align with corporate goals, policies, and branding guidelines
  • Acts as a key driver of innovation in marketing communications, bringing new ideas and approaches to enhance effectiveness and engagement
  • Develops and implements strategic marketing communications plans to enhance brand positioning and business growth
  • Manages relationships with PR agencies and external communication partners to ensure consistent messaging and media exposure
  • Oversees and executes multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • BSc in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or relevant field
  • MSc will be considered an asset
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar positions
  • Experience in a manufacturing or product distribution environment is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Design Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
  • Knowledge of HTML development is considered a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent command of the English language; both written and oral
  • Knowledge of the German language is considered a plus
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and ability to make decisions
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
