Embedded Engineering Intern

Qrypt is seeking an Embedded Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in the industry.  In this intern role, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from experienced physicists, software engineers, and hardware engineers. You’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills in embedded software design, FPGA development, and PCB hardware bring up while also contributing to the success of the company.

Internship will be in New York, NY.

• Be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer or Electrical Engineering,
• Possess a well-rounded academic background
• Have foundational knowledge in one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, Python, Verilog, VHDL
• Be passionate about technology and willing to learn new things 

• You are comfortable working in an environment built around security and privacy.
• You want to be part of a team creating products that impact the world for the better.
• You care about quality, and you value effective communication and collaboration as the way to make better products.
• You like being responsible for delivering smart, reliable, maintainable systems that secure our customers’ data and privacy.
• You're interested in working with leading technologies in the quantum information sciences: quantum random number generation, post-quantum cryptography, secure messaging, and privacy preservation techniques.

The hourly pay range for this role is $20 - $25.  The actual hourly pay offered may vary based on multiple factors such as qualifications, experience, transferable skills, level of education, and other factors permitted by law.  Please note that this information is solely for candidates hired to perform work in this location and refers to the amount Qrypt is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
