The team is driven to make healthcare more accessible for all Americans. We’re looking for a dedicated, full-time Sales Development Specialist to join our Sales team. You will be essential to helping grow the sales pipeline and will work closely with the team of Sales Executives to drive revenue.


We are looking for a hunter mentality across all sales segments – Medical, Dental, Vision, Behavioral Health, Pharmacy, etc. – within our Sales division.  You will be responsible for helping to source new opportunities and strategically bring prospects into market. Your work in identifying, researching, and developing leads will help to advance them through the sales cycle towards closing.  You’ll benefit from ongoing mentorship and collaboration, a supportive culture of recognition, and career pathing.

What you'll do:
  • Creative lead generation - prospect, research, and identify good target contacts inside of existing client and prospective accounts to generate leads 
  • Leverage effective outreach strategies and Marketing programs such as content, events, webinars, etc. to engage prospects via email, social, and phone
  • Partner with Sales Executives in assessing effectiveness of outreach strategy
  • Use Salesforce to track relationships and assess strategies
  • Establish initial contact and relationship with prospects to qualify the opportunity before initiating handoff to the Sales Executive Team


What it requires:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, related field, or 5 years of experience in lieu of the degree  
  • 1-3 years of professional sales experience
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
  • Strong presentation and professionalism – both on the phone and in-person
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Excellent troubleshooting, listening and problem-solving skills
  • Customer focused
  • Works well in a team environment
