Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread various types of documents related to accounting with a focus on clarity, grammar, and style.
• Collaborate with team members to understand the intended message and ensure factual accuracy of all materials.
• Create and maintain a style guide for consistent language and branding across all documents and communications.
• Develop editing timelines and manage multiple projects efficiently to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Provide constructive feedback to writers and assist in improving overall writing skills within the team.
• Ensure that all edited content adheres to industry standards and regulations related to accounting communications.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting terminology to continually enhance editing accuracy.

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an editor or in a similar role, preferably within the accounting or finance industry.
• Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and style.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and terminology is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly while editing.
• Proficiency with editing software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
