The expected salary range for this position is based on several factors including market, funding, candidates experience level, skills, schedule, training, and related knowledge. Our ranges are developed and published as good faith estimates for the position.

Salary Range: $75,000 -$82,000 | Office benefit package (Parking/Remote Expenses): $130/Month

The Central Access Program Director will provide supervision and oversight to the agency’s Central Access Team.  The Central Access Team is currently in development. The goal of the team is to improve system efficiency by simplifying methods to access existing community-based services targeted to individuals who frequently utilize community-based and State Operated hospital systems.  The program will provide a central point of initial contact for referrals and initial coordination of services for individual, community stakeholders, and referring providers. In addition, the Program Director will supervise and allocate the agency’s float staffing pool, with the intention of maximizing program capacity and flow through effective distribution of staffing resources. It will be the Director’s responsibility to participate in the design and implementation of this model within RADIAS Health, and as such the role will evolve based on the needs of both internal and external stakeholders. This position is funded through a State of Minnesota Mental Health Innovations Grant.  

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all clinical, organizational, and financial aspects of the program.  
  • Develop and maintain program policies and procedures and revise as necessary. 
  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to a team of mental health practitioners, nurses, and administrative support staff.  
  • Develop and maintain systems for tracking grant related outcomes. Ensure that required program evaluations are completed, and reports are submitted to state and county entities in a timely fashion. 
  • Ensure that all state outcomes/standards are met and/or demonstrate strategic planning to facilitate maximizations of the team’s performance measures. 
  • Work with agency Cultural Consultants and community groups to integrate team practices which support individuals with diverse needs in feel welcomed into the RADIAS Health system of care.   
  • Provide community education and outreach to recruit individual to participate in the service, with an emphasis on engaging Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) communities. 
  • Develop relationships with community partners and internal programs to facilitate smooth and timely processing of referrals.  
  • Implement team practices that support the delivery of culturally congruent, trauma informed care.  
  • Coordinate program activities with community providers and other agencies to ensure optimum level of communication and care for clients. 
  • Coordinate the team’s efforts to gather records and assessment information needed to determine program eligibility.  
  • Complete diagnostic assessments, level of care assessments, and short-term services as needed.  
  • Direct and coordinate the client admission process in partnership with the agency’s direct service teams. 
  • Supervise and assign the agency’s float staff to support teams in maintaining staffing levels and associated service capacity.  
  • Lead routine staff meetings continuously evaluate the status of clients and do appropriate planning and coordination of treatment activities to ensure immediate attention to their changing needs. 
  • Provide direct services when necessary to cover for staff absences (PTO, FMLA, etc.); manage team schedules to ensure appropriate coverage. 
  • Ensure appropriate reporting is submitted to Vulnerable Adult, Child Protection, the Ombudsman’s Office, or other agencies/entities when necessary. 
  • Monitor staff time reporting, mileage reimbursement, and other administrative task completion. Develop and ensure completion and compliance of all mandated training. Identify team training needs and conduct any necessary individual training for direct reports and other team members when applicable. 
  • Act as a liaison to the County and State with clinical, contractual, and funding matters.  
  • Ensure that required program evaluations are completed, and reports are submitted to state and county entities in a timely fashion.    
  • Responsible for keeping on-going performance documentation for all direct reports. 
  • Provide supervision to team members, including performance evaluations, growth and development plans, discipline, and recommendations for salary adjustments. 
  • Maintain a pattern of regular work hours. 
  • Hire all positions in concert with Human Resources.  
  • Must be able to transport clients in the community. 
  • Complete all paperwork, reports, and charting contemporaneously and in an organized manner. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 
  • Licensed Mental Health Professional (LICSW, LMFT, LP or LPCC). 
  • Minimum of five year’s work experience providing services to individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. 
  • Three years of experience or training in administration or supervision preferred.
