Community Event and Engagement Manager

The Community Event and Engagement Manager will lead Rapid Roofing’s community outreach initiatives, organize impactful events, and foster relationships with key stakeholders. This role will also oversee our social media and community group posting strategies for platforms like Facebook and Nextdoor to ensure consistent and engaging communication with our local audience. The ideal candidate is a connector and a creator — someone who thrives on building relationships and crafting memorable experiences both online and in-person.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Management:

  • Plan and execute company-sponsored events, including homeowner education seminars, contractor appreciation days, and community outreach programs.
  • Represent Rapid Roofing at trade shows, networking events, and local gatherings.
  • Oversee event logistics, from planning to follow-up, ensuring each event maximizes engagement and strengthens our brand presence.

Community Engagement:

  • Act as the face of Rapid Roofing in the community, building connections with homeowners, businesses, and local organizations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurance agents, real estate professionals, contractors, and other complementary businesses to generate referrals and partnerships.
  • Attend and actively participate in local networking groups, such as BNI and Chamber of Commerce events, to expand our influence and footprint.

Social Media and Community Group Strategy:

  • Manage and execute our social media posting strategy across platforms, including Facebook and Nextdoor, to drive engagement and brand awareness.
  • Create and schedule posts that promote events, share company updates, and highlight community involvement.
  • Monitor and engage with online community groups, fostering positive discussions about Rapid Roofing and answering questions about our services.

Partnership Development:

  • Identify and establish strategic alliances with local businesses, organizations, and professionals.
  • Develop co-branded initiatives that create value for partners and enhance mutual growth opportunities.
  • Cultivate a robust referral network by maintaining consistent communication and offering incentives to partners.

Tracking and Reporting:

  • Measure the success of community events, social media efforts, partnerships, and engagement activities through detailed reporting.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve future initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in event management, community engagement, or business development.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms like Facebook, Nextdoor, and other online community tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Familiarity with the home service or roofing industry is a plus but not required.
