About the Role:

Recurly is seeking a Demand Generation Event Manager with 5+ years of experience in planning, executing, and optimizing events to drive pipeline and revenue growth. This role is ideal for a strategic, results-driven event marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands how to use events as a high-impact demand generation channel.


Key Responsibilities
  • Event Strategy & Execution – Develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation event strategy, including in-person conferences, trade shows, field events, and virtual experiences, all aligned to pipeline and revenue goals. 
  • Virtual Event Management – Own the execution of webinars, virtual summits, and hybrid event experiences, ensuring high engagement, seamless logistics, and measurable impact.
  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Acceleration – Drive measurable impact by ensuring events contribute to MQLs, SQLs, and closed-won revenue. Track and analyze event performance to optimize future activations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner closely with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to design event programs that engage prospects and customers while amplifying Recurly’s messaging.
  • Sponsorship & Partnerships – Identify, negotiate, and manage event sponsorships that elevate brand presence and maximize ROI.
  • Event Logistics & Budget Management – Oversee the end-to-end logistics, vendor management, and budget allocation to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Content & Experience Design – Collaborate with Content, Design, and Brand teams to develop compelling event themes, speaker lineups, and interactive experiences that captivate attendees.
  • Sales Kickoff, Club, Enablement & Follow-Up – Work closely with Sales to ensure impactful events and strong follow-up of demand generation events that drive conversion and accelerate deal velocity.


What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in event marketing, demand generation, or field marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or FinTech.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable pipeline growth through events.
  • Experience managing end-to-end event planning, from strategy to execution and post-event analytics.
  • Strong understanding of lead capture, lead nurturing, and sales alignment.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms (Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Exceptional project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing external vendors and sponsorships.
