Clark Cup LLC, located in Baltimore, MD, is a highly automated paper cup manufacturer with state-of-the-art equipment and robotics allowing us to target bringing overseas manufacturing back to the USA. We are quickly growing and expanding operations to service our customer base.
We are looking for motivated and reliable employees to fill the position of Paper Cup Machine Operator. All candidates should have a strong desire to learn and be prepared to work in a team-orientated and goal-driven environment. Previous Machine Operator experience is not required but preferred! Applicants must be prepared for a fast-paced environment where machine uptime is extremely important.
Responsibilities:
• Operates the Paper Cup machines in a safe and efficient manner.
• Loads and unloads the appropriate paper for each job.
• Maintains, operates, and monitors the Paper Cup machines in accordance with best GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Performs basic troubleshooting on assigned machines as necessary
• Performs daily safety and compliance checks on machines – promptly reports all issues to Maintenance Tech and/or department manager.
• Operate support equipment.
• Operate lift trucks/clamp tractors.
• Maintain production records.
• Support Maintenance Tech
• Assist in other areas or perform other duties, as assigned.
Education/ Experience:
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Legally permitted to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend basic English.
Skills/Abilities:
• Push and pull up to 150 lbs
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Constantly bend, reach, climb, and stand through the shift.
• Follow all codes of conduct, safety parameters, productivity, and quality standards, while adhering to attendance policies.
