About the position
The Local Account Executive (Sales Rep) at TForce Freight is a pivotal role focused on strategically converting new business opportunities, penetrating designated territories, and fulfilling sales quotas with the primary goal of growing and retaining profitable revenue streams. This position requires a proactive approach to analyzing sales reports and transportation trends to identify potential new customers, as well as opportunities for growth within existing accounts. The incumbent will be responsible for tracking sales opportunities and developing a robust pipeline of potential customers through the establishment of strategic relationships. In addition to new business development, the Local Account Executive will promote cross-functional sales by sharing leads and informing peers about freight services and bundling opportunities. Collaboration on sales proposals is also a key aspect of this role. The position involves compiling weekly sales recaps that detail achievements, losses, and competitive information, as well as analyzing account recaps to monitor revenue trends and develop service recommendations. The role also includes managing accounts by advising customers on billing processes, resolving inquiries, and providing entertainment to customers. Training customers on the use and advantages of web-based shipping and tracking functions is essential to ensure they are fully equipped to utilize TFI’s services effectively. Strong customer relations skills are necessary to position the required TFI shipping services to meet the evolving business needs of customers.
Responsibilities
• Compiles weekly sales recaps on achievements, losses, and competitive information.

Requirements
• U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.

• Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the position or willing to self-relocate.

• Individual must be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.

• Understanding of TFI’s leverage over competitor products, services, and technology.

• Ability to project future customer needs and demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills.

• Ability to identify issues and provide solutions; must be a problem solver.
