Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant II to support financial operations including cash reconciliations and month-end activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash and bank reconciliations across sub-ledger and general ledger
• Process and analyze high volumes of payments, identifying discrepancies
• Book cash-related journal entries during month-end close

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or strong accounting experience with a Business degree)
• 2-4 years of accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, lookups, data reconciliation)
• Solid understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger systems
• Based in the Houston metro area preferred; exceptional remote candidates considered
