Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee and optimize the general accounting and financial close processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of 3 senior accountants
• Manage the monthly close process in accordance with GAAP, including journal entry review and account reconciliation
• Automate and streamline manual processes and maintain the Workday GL system

Required Qualifications

• 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years in a managerial role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Public accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with large ERP systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
