AI Labs Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of AI Labs to establish and lead its AI Labs function.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the AI Labs function, including team structure and innovation roadmap
• Identify and rapidly prototype high-impact, AI-native use cases leveraging Generative and Agentic AI
• Collaborate with customers to validate concepts and work with R&D to transition prototypes into production-ready capabilities

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in R&D leadership, with 3+ years in AI/ML-driven products or innovation teams
• Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, including Generative AI and large language models
• Proven ability to lead innovation from idea to validated concept in a fast-paced environment
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills and experience working with engineering and executive teams
• Passion for understanding user needs and translating them into impactful solutions
