Associate Web API Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Web API Engineer to contribute to the development of externally facing RESTful integration APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining secure and scalable RESTful APIs for external integration
• Collaborate with senior engineers and product stakeholders to deliver features that meet business and partner requirements
• Support the creation and maintenance of OpenAPI (Swagger) documentation to enable developer adoption

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Foundational knowledge of RESTful API principles and HTTP standards
• Familiarity with at least one backend programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#)
• Basic proficiency with version control systems like Git
• Strong interest in building secure and maintainable backend systems
