A company is looking for an Avian Survey Senior Research Technician to manage avian field data collection for habitat restoration projects in Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

• Train project staff in standardized point count methodologies
• Coordinate statewide sampling strategy and oversee data collection logistics
• Complete avian point counts and manage data post-collection

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject
• Excellent visual and aural avian identification skills
• 2 years of experience in avian-focused fieldwork, including point-count experience
• Competent in data collection and management
• Basic experience with Excel
