Billing and Coding Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing and Coding Auditor to ensure the accuracy and compliance of billing practices in behavioral health services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits of behavioral health billing and claims for accuracy and compliance
• Review coding of services to ensure alignment with industry standards and payer contracts
• Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions while collaborating with the billing department

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in medical claims billing and/or coding, preferably in behavioral healthcare
• Current certification in Medical Billing and/or Coding
• Proficiency in Kipu and CollaborateMD required
• Working knowledge of behavioral health billing practices and compliance standards
