Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve unpaid or underpaid Medicare insurance claims
• Utilize critical thinking to identify root causes of underpayments and follow procedures to address them
• Maintain positive relationships with clinical personnel and payer representatives while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of Medicare collections experience
• 2-3 years of healthcare, insurance, or revenue cycle experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Computer competency including typing and basic troubleshooting
