Create and implement a coding education program for staff and stakeholders
Monitor coding quality, provide feedback, and develop educational curricula
Maintain knowledge of coding guidelines and communicate updates to staff
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist-Physician (CCS-P) credential
Minimum of five years of multi-specialty coding experience
Previous teaching and/or training experience preferred
Specialty knowledge in OBGYN, Ophthalmology, and Surgery is a plus
