Certified Hospitalist Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Hospitalist Coder to provide coding services for Profee Hospitalist accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for Profee Hospitalist accounts
• Calculate ProFee and/or Facility E/M levels and recognize critical care cases
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and maintain productivity and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory
• Minimum of 6 months of on-the-job coding experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Must have reliable internet, phone, and current coding materials
• Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
