Certified Medical Coding Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coding Analyst - Edit Configuration.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze complex billing for opportunities to edit claims based on industry guidelines
• Research concepts and analyze data using analytics tools such as SQL
• Prepare and present clear findings to internal teams including physicians and senior leadership

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Current coding credential (CCS, CCS-P, CPC) or RHIA/RHIT required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare and medical coding
• Basic SQL proficiency required; Intermediate proficiency preferred
• Extensive knowledge of inpatient/outpatient hospital billing practices and coding standards
