Job Summary

A company is looking for an Outpatient Medical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate code assignments for facility outpatient, same day surgery, and observation records
• Meet client productivity targets while maintaining a coding quality of 95% or greater
• Adapt to changes and work independently in a remote environment

Required Qualifications

• AHIMA or AAPC certification
• A minimum of three years' coding experience in an acute care setting
• Experience with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding for outpatient records
• Technical competency with remote-based connectivity and office software
• Commitment to a regular schedule with reliable attendance
