Chargemaster Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chargemaster Coordinator to research and analyze billing and charging errors while recommending solutions for compliance and revenue optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve edits and exceptions related to charge sessions in a timely manner
• Develop measures to track and monitor charge sessions
• Provide feedback to Internal Consultants and participate in professional development activities

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; additional degrees or certifications may be considered
• 8 years of healthcare or relevant experience in areas like revenue cycle or insurance
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• Preferred certifications such as CIA, CPA, or CPC
• Experience in clinical, coding, or revenue cycle roles is preferred
