Claims Operations Team Leader

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee claims adjudication and assist in the absence of the Claims Supervisor
  • Support training, mentoring, and coaching of Claims Operations staff
  • Act as a subject matter expert for escalated claims issues and coordinate system testing


Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Three or more years of experience in a managed care claims environment
  • Strong working knowledge of medical terminology, CPT4, HCPCS, ICD10 coding sets, and HIPAA regulations
  • Ability to maintain production levels and quality goals
  • Pre-employment background check required
