Collateral Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collateral Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Track daily collateral shipped reports for timely delivery from Correspondents to warehouse banks
• Communicate with Correspondents and warehouse banks to resolve outstanding collateral packages and exceptions
• Monitor and assess daily reports related to collateral and MERS transfers

Required Qualifications and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year prior experience in the mortgage banking industry required
• Experience with MERS online system activities strongly desired
• Proficiency with computer systems including MS Office and Internet Browsers
• Knowledge of DataTrac is a plus
