Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and reliable Data Entry Specialist to join our health care team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining sensitive patient and administrative data. Key Responsibilities
• Data Entry: Accurately input patient information, administrative records, and other health care-related data into our secure systems.
• Data Verification: Regularly review and verify data for accuracy and completeness, making necessary corrections when discrepancies are found.
• Record Maintenance: Update and maintain electronic health records (EHR) and other databases in compliance with health care regulations and privacy standards.
• Quality Control: Collaborate with team members to conduct routine audits of data entries to ensure ongoing accuracy and reliability.
• Reporting: Generate periodic reports from the data systems to support clinical and administrative decision-making.
• Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA and other regulatory standards to protect patient confidentiality and data integrity.

Requirements
• Experience: Prior experience in data entry, preferably within the health care industry, is an advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, data entry software, and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail to ensure the integrity of sensitive data.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear and effective collaboration.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
• Confidentiality: Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or coursework in health care administration or data management is a plus.
