Director of Power Marketing

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Power Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and decision-making for uncontracted revenue streams and non-traditional PPA revenue structures
• Support the company's power off-take strategy and develop revenue strategies to maximize project value
• Conduct market research and engage with market participants to assess energy pricing across various markets

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of overall business experience in the energy industry, with at least 5 years in power marketing functions
• Understanding of US power markets and ability to evaluate evolving market conditions
• Comprehensive knowledge of power market concepts, including physical and virtual PPAs
• Proficient in Excel-based modeling and data manipulation within complex financial models
