Ecology and Agricultural Systems Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialist in Ecology and Traditional Agricultural Systems (GIAHS).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and prepare ecological technical-scientific reports on Ethnobotany and natural resource use
• Review and update preliminary diagnoses by integrating information from local communities and organizations
• Document and support all five GIAHS criteria from an ecological perspective

Required Qualifications

• Master's and PhD in Botany, Ecology, or equivalent areas focused on Ethnobotany
• At least 5 years of experience in data collection and technical-scientific report preparation
• Experience in technical document preparation and data analysis
• Working knowledge (level C) of English and Portuguese
• National of Brazil or resident with work permit
