Join Gemm Learning in a fulfilling remote program manager role. You’ll support children and adults working at home on software that aims to overcome deep-seated learning and reading delays, changing lives.
This role is ideal for a parent with kids at school looking for a job during school hours. It’s a 10 am-2 pm EST weekday schedule.
Gemm Learning has been providing this unique service to families all over the US and Canada since 2006 and is looking for an educator to take a morning slot.
Our ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, enjoys working with
individuals of varying ages and abilities, and is tech-savvy and self-motivated.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Certified teacher with at least 2 years of teaching experience or SLP
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and set up programs for children based on their needs. This includes running an initial assessment. We provide Fast ForWord, DreamBox Math, and other software interventions.
• Monitor progress and update program protocols based on student progress and goals.
• Partner with families at home to help them stick to a routine—as a coach, cheerleader, tech support, and counselor. This includes regular check-ins and longer conversations at program decision points.
• Maintain pristine records of a child’s progress in the program and in learning.
• Work as part of a team to provide responsive, caring and empathetic support to our families.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00 – $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
Schedule:
