Executive Assistant, Enterprise Portfolio & Program Management

American Express is seeking an Executive Assistant to join our Enterprise Portfolio & Program Management team. In this role, you will play a critical role in supporting our leadership team and ensuring the successful execution of our strategic initiatives. We are looking for a driven and professional individual who is able to handle multiple tasks with ease and maintain confidentiality at all times. Provide high-level administrative support to the leadership team of the Enterprise Portfolio & Program Management team.
Manage and maintain complex calendars, scheduling meetings and appointments with internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate and organize travel arrangements for team members, ensuring cost-effective and efficient travel plans.
Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, presentations, and other materials as needed.
Act as a point of contact for the team, screening and directing calls and emails to the appropriate individuals.
Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information and communications.
Assist with project management tasks, such as creating and updating project plans and tracking progress.
Handle expense reports and reimbursements for the team, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful execution of strategic initiatives.
Take initiative to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity within the team.
Communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization.
Serve as a liaison between the team and other departments within the company.
Handle ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed to support the team’s goals and objectives.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the company’s goals and values and actively work towards achieving them.
