Export Authorization Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Export Authorization Analyst to support the Grid Deployment Office within the Department of Energy.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, draft, and route Export Authorization decisions
• Review Export Authorization applications and assist the Federal Permitting Team
• Draft internal memorandums, decision documents, and manage website updates related to Export Authorizations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience drafting energy-related proposed decisions or orders at FERC or a State Public Utility Commission
• Knowledge of electricity markets and power marketing companies
• Experience coordinating internal routing and approvals on tight deadlines
• U.S. Citizenship is required
