Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder ER.

Key Responsibilities

• Abstract, code, sequence, and interpret clinical information from various medical records
• Assign correct principal and secondary diagnoses and procedure codes with accurate sequencing
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements while documenting productivity

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program
• A minimum of two to four years of current production coding experience in acute care and profee
• Must hold relevant certifications such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and/or CCS-P
• Experience with Epic and 3M 360 CAC
• Well-versed in ICD-10-CM and CPT coding guidelines
