Abstract, code, sequence, and interpret clinical information from various medical records
Assign correct principal and secondary diagnoses and procedure codes with accurate sequencing
Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements while documenting productivity
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program
A minimum of two to four years of current production coding experience in acute care and profee
Must hold relevant certifications such as CPC, COC, CIC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and/or CCS-P
Experience with Epic and 3M 360 CAC
Well-versed in ICD-10-CM and CPT coding guidelines
