Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join a cross-functional team working with the Department of Veterans Affairs on an integrated patient portal experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build accessible, performant, and scalable frontend and backend features using Ruby on Rails and other frameworks
  • Develop user-facing features with React, following design patterns and standards
  • Write and maintain 100% automated test coverage for all delivered features
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional engineering experience with knowledge in at least one front end and one back end technology stack
  • 3+ years of recent experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with measurement and monitoring tools, and understanding of application observability
  • Familiarity with secure development best practices and Zero Trust principles
