General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Counsel to join the Executive team and provide legal guidance for growth and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all legal functions and serve as the company's chief legal advisor
• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial and government contracts
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and guide risk mitigation efforts

Required Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar membership
• 8+ years of legal experience, with at least 3 years in an in-house counsel role at a SaaS or GovTech organization
• Expertise in negotiating and drafting commercial and public sector contracts
• Familiarity with SaaS licensing models and compliance programs
• High integrity and sound judgment in complex legal situations
