About the position
The Coordinator, Group Travel will work closely with the Meeting Owner, Attendee Registration, and at times directly with the client to understand the meeting goals and objectives as they are related to air services for each program. The Coordinator, Group Travel then focuses on the tactical operations of managing attendee air services, in order to provide optimal services to the account in support of those goals. The Coordinator, Group Travel must be able to work effectively and efficiently with internal support teams, external clients and attendees, to ensure satisfaction with travel services. In this role, you will be responsible for securing timely and accurate air, hotel, and car reservations for both domestic and international itineraries according to set meeting parameters, including block space. You will monitor flight arrivals and departures for your meetings, utilize proper airline discounts, and track savings. Additionally, you will provide quality control processes for your reports, ensuring that all details are cross-checked and communicated effectively with the Meeting Coordinator and Meeting Owner. Financial management is also a key aspect of this position, as you will need to adhere to airline budgets per meeting and correct final billing within 15 calendar days of the program’s last day. On-site services may be required, where you will provide quality assistance during the meetings you are asked to attend. Continuous training and networking opportunities will be available to further your industry knowledge, and you will be expected to keep updated on all airline procedural changes.

Requirements
• No prior air ticketing experience required.

• College Degree or equivalent.
,
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both internal and client-facing environments.
,
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
,
• Ability to deliver creative outputs within a constricted timeline.
,
• Wide range of computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Basic knowledge of Galileo GDS and database management programs (Cvent).
,
• Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time, potentially including international travel.
