Job Summary

A company is looking for a HIM Inpatient Coder - Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality hospital coding on Inpatient accounts, ensuring accurate ICD-10/PCS coding
• Maintain knowledge of coding guidelines, governmental regulations, and facility-specific policies
• Achieve and maintain a 96% coding accuracy while adhering to productivity standards

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must hold one of the following credentials: RHIA, RHIT, CCS
• 5+ years of Inpatient Facility coding experience
• Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology is preferred
• Associate's Degree is a plus
