Inpatient Coding Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Corporate Coding Coordinator (Remote based in US).

Key Responsibilities

• Performs second level coder reviews on accounts and provides education on correct coding
• Assists the coding manager with coder questions and coding inquiries
• Codes inpatient accounts as needed and monitors DNFC management goals

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of acute hospital coding experience
• Associates Degree in Health Information Management
• RHIT or CCS certification
• Skilled in MS Office suite
• Ability to analyze coding related reports
