Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead I&C engineering for combined cycle power projects, overseeing all aspects from development to completion
  • Review and approve engineering deliverables from EORs and OEMs, ensuring compliance with contract and industry standards
  • Develop technical specifications and manage equipment proposals and design deliverables from various OEMs
Required Qualifications
  • BS degree in Controls Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 15 years of related experience, or 25 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum 10 years of lead project design engineering experience in power and/or utility stations
  • Experience in Control System Architecture, Power Plant Process Instrumentation Design, and related equipment specifications
  • Familiarity with utility control systems for Combined Cycle Power plants and electrical power distribution integration
  • Knowledge of industry codes and standards including NEC/NEMA/ISO/IEC/BS/OSHA
