Job Summary

A company is looking for a PFS Insurance Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the collections team in achieving cash collection and reimbursement rate goals
  • Manage patient accounts, including outstanding A/R, credits, and denials
  • Correct errors and submit claims and appeals in accordance with payer guidelines
Required Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory, preferably in genetic billing
  • 1+ years of experience in managing denials
  • Knowledge of CPT codes, medical terminology, insurance plans, and ICD 10 codes
  • Proficient in MS Excel and possess strong computer skills
  • Familiarity with different payer plans and basic understanding of A/R processes
