IT Service Desk Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Service Desk Technician I to provide Tier I end-user help desk support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve Help Desk tickets according to SLA
  • Assist customers by troubleshooting and resolving issues related to computer systems, hardware, software, telecommunications, and networking
  • Document customer interactions in a service desk ticketing system and escalate issues as necessary
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus
  • Basic technical experience with Windows operating systems and computer hardware
  • Help Desk experience or equivalent work experience is a plus
  • A+ and/or Network+ certification is a plus
  • Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including weekends as needed
