Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Accountant (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accounts receivable and payable files, including invoice preparation and payment tracking
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including journal entry posting and reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and internal financial management reports for accuracy

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Above average knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with payroll systems and knowledge of federal regulations (FAR, DCAA, DCMA, CAS)
• Ability to handle personal identifiable information (PII) and controlled unclassified information (CUI)
